I absolutely agree about abstract...
In my case, of course, it's because I'm incapable of creating anything representational, but I still have a heck of a lot of fun with dyes and fabrics and yarns and fabric paints and marbling dyes, and all the rest. I love making wild things on fabric, with the brightest colors I can mix. Personally, I find it cheering.
And therapeutic.
I may lack anything resembling talent, but that doesn't mean I can't enjoy the process, right?
(Poet, are you getting any ideas about the importance of something called "Talent"? As in, you ain't gotta have none to enjoy throwing color onto a flat plane?)
