It shouldn't be necessary to deliver evidence to your doctor. Anything you can find, they can also find. In fact they can find more since they have full access to medical journals and colleagues that you don't have. In my experience, trying to present evidence to doctors isn't helpful, and creates an adversarial relationship.Instead, tell them you've heard of it being used and want to know what they think of it. Possible outcomes are:
1) they know about it and are willing to try it with you
2) they know about it, but have a reason to not try it with you
3) they don't know about it, but can research it themselves
4) they don't know about it and are not interested in learning about itIf it's 1-3, then they don't really need evidence from you. If it's 4, then your evidence won't help and you might want to check another doctor.
