So after a solid 2 months with gradual increasing dosage of Adderall, I seem to be getting very little effect from it at all now. I have increased to 15mg, 3 times daily, but it barely makes a dent in my fatigue, and I'm often left in a bad mood at night(not exactly depressed, but in a strange state of concern where I do not feel like myself). When I see the doctor next, I will be increasing dosage to 60mg total daily, but do not think that will have much more of an effect.
At this point, I'm not sure what to do. I try to avoid anything that has too strong of a serotonin affect, as that usually just worsens my problems, so I don't want to go up to 12mg/24hours of the EMSAM. Does anyone think that actually going down in the patch strength would increase the benefits of Adderall? My pdoc won't prescribe any other stimulant for some reason, by the way.
Oh, and this is Adderall IR that I have been taking. I have also tried different brands to see if that made a difference. Corepharma actually exacerbated by depression, Teva/Barr and Sandoz have about the same strength, but Sandoz seems to have less side effects, possibly built a tolerance to it quicker, though.
I honestly don't really feel the effect of the Adderall after the initial time I take it each day. Usually I just take 2 15mg doses at the same time, and the additional 15mg a few hours later, which the effect of all 3 together doesn't last long at all.
