Hi,
Been on Nardil for 7 years by now, the most annoying side-effects for me are the weight-gain (12 kg-s) and the worn-out feeling in the evenings.
First side effect:
When i came off nardil for 2 weeks i immediately started losing wait, like 2 kg per week, i noticed i didn't eat less at all just the weight started to gome down by itself, i actually ate more than on Nardil. Seems that the Nardil drastically slows down my metabolism ..it is so unfair.Any ideas how to get off the weight? Physical exercise does not works at all! Have anyone had any success taking anti-weight prescription meds? I'm not talking about herbal remedies here, i'm looking for something strong, something industrial?
Second side effect:
While taking Nardil, i feel really energized for the first half of the day and get much done of course, but the second half of the day i feel like crashing down, and by the end of the day i feel really anxious and exhausted, can't relax at all, just feel so tensed up. Guess it is the dopamine depletion(sort of like amphetamine crush)! Any ideas what can help here?
I know high levels of serotonin makes you feel relaxed. It's because, one time i tried prozac, and the first couple of days, when it actually kicked in, i felt so peaceful and relaxed.. of course it lasted only for 2 days and no effect after that(that's why the Nardil in the first place). Nardil gives me tons of energy but i can't seem to relax, like i'm always in hurry, i tend to eat dinner very fast to go back to do something. A bottle of bear and a tab of xanax takes the edge off but i still cant enjoy being relaxed and peacefully watch tv in the evening.Any help i appreciate very much!
