Hi again,

Is this your first time on a MAO?

I would try and get a BP cuff to validate if your headache is from high BP. If so then you can assume it is caused by something you are eating. I just read something and it said to limit tea to 2 cups/day. I don't see anything about bacon though.

The dietary restrictions are hard to follow and what one believes is allowed may not be so forgiving.

I don't get headaches routinely so when I get one and I assume something I ate triggered it. The few times this has happened, my BP was elevated so that is scarey knowing you could have a stroke if your BP is really in a dangerous range. The headache is usually severe and I have had visual changes and dizziness.

I would call your doc and ask about the tea and the bacon and then get a BP reading to be sure it is affecting your BP. Without that, you are in the dark.
