Great find.NE would have been my guess, as adinazolam (Deracyn), another triazolobenzodiazepine, is supposed to exert its antidepressant effects via NE. Adinazolam is a very clean drug that I found was devoid of sedation, although this has been described.
I see that prazosin was found to be synergistic with alprazolam in producing antidepressant effects. Pretty cool.
