What are you taking Depakote for? Doxepin is an industrial-strength antihistamine, a TCA -antidepressant and anxiolytic- it is also anticholinergic as benztropine so you may get too much anticholinergic effects which could be troublesome.This would be is easier if I knew the rationale behind the chosen meds.
First of all, what you taking your meds for?
Cogentin = benztropine is an anticholinergic agent and reduces EPS induced by strong DA-antagonists like Risperdal, so them two makes sense, if you have problems with EPS. They do not counteract each other.I hardly believe you would need Vistaril if you are taking doxepin! Both are antihistamines.
If this combo works for you, great, if it is a new one, you and your pdoc should carefully revise it!
