> > Kat what a sweet thing to say:) I'd like to believe I was kind and caring and giving. I used to spiritually step into the other person's shoes as they say and feel what they felt to better understand the client. The staff I worked with in all the places most were also generous and kind. Today I feel things have changed a lot of RN's and others just want a paycheck and don't care like we did. And that was when you could even be admitted for a med change. I've also been on the other side and I do know what you mean. Today I would never ever go back to one. Times have changed for the worse. I hate having a roommate - you never know who you're gonna get, and if they're gonna snore or not lol I've had a total of 4 roommates, and of them there was only 1 that I genuinely liked. She got discharged before I did and I could have cried b/c she was replaced by a rude snorer. But such is life.

> I have absolutely no doubt you were a perfect angel with your patients. You saying you tried to step into their shoes spiritually goes to prove that. You definitely chose the right profession. And more proof comes from seeing how kind and supportive and helpful you are here on PB. IslandGirl was right; we heart you!!!!!
