From my past experiences don't expect a pdoc to know endocrinology. It's the most complicated specialty other than maybe neurology to me. I thought you had the testing done by an endo. Oh make sure the endo is good. Also they are hard to find. People are not entering this specialty. I'd definately google endos in your area and find a site the rates them. I goofed as wanted a shorter wait time so the guy I had heard wonderful things about was in the same practice as the one I see. But I saw this one and not allowed to change docs in the practice once you have seen one. The good think is I saw the two both consulting on me.
