Have you ever taken an NRI like desipramine or strattera? Or NDRI like wellbutrin?
Ive read (and experienced) that NRIs seem to shrink the blood vessels in the sinus and reduce congestion a bit. Killed off a lot of my allergy symptoms by going on an NRI its great.
It might be that theres swelling which is putting pressure on olfactory nerves, or blocking air from flowing over?
Taste and smell are linked, without being able to smell your sense of taste is impared a bit.
