I was trying to follow the advice from Dr. Gillman on combing sertraline and nortriptyline. But.... my own P-doc wants me to cut out the sertraline and only be on the Nort. How likely is Nort going to work on itself for depression and if it does work, how long is would it take before I see results. By the way, I'm still on 10mg. paxil. I've been on the Nort. for only 3 days and the only difference is anxiety in the a.m. which I take one 1/2mg. clonazepam for and have for like 16 years. Same dose the whole time. This is all confusing and disheartening at the same time. I just want something to work! Oh and by the way, I'm on 25mg. Nort. and on 50mg. of Sert. but like I said he wants me to stop the Sert.
Thanks,
Laney
Have taken paxil for 13 years. Is no longer working. My own diagnosis is depression. Have tried Lamictal, Wellbutrin and Now Zoloft all with the 10mg. paxil.
