Exact same here.
Effexor was probably to date one of the Worst meds ive ever been on.
i was scared but didnt have many other options to try so i gave it a whirl.
the Best...the only issue i had with it was it took almost 10 weeks to work well.
but once it did, its like i wasn't even on anything, NO side effects, clear thoughts. great.stayed on it until i found out i was pregnant in jan last year.
i'm still nursing so i'm still med free.
but i'm keeping hopes that it will still work for me when i'm done.b2c.
> I love Pristiq and couldn't stand Effexor. Start up with Effexor made me want to crawl out of my skin and I couldn't get past it. Pristiq is great, very minimal start up side effects - just a headache for the first week. Pristiq does take a long time to kick in, however, with gradual change in depression and anxiety levels. Able to handle things much better, still feel anxiety, but can shake it off easier. Don't ruminate as much. I have been on a lot of meds and Pristiq is my favorite thus far.
