hi,
Im glad to say that an increase in lamictal has been helpful, on 200mgs a day now
My mood got generally brighter, and miracle of miracles I got a bit more comfortable socially, less self conscious, and less irritable, generally less reactive.
I've been decreasing my effexor xr, and it's been problematic, but I could feel a smoothing out of my mood.
I'm on 75mgs in the am now and 37.5 in the evening
initially I had a real surge in anxiety which then dissipated.
then I recently, after another decrease, got pretty depressed, crying, lethargic, feeling generally awful. This again has dissipated, but my mood I think is mildly depressed.I don't know what to do. I want to get off the effexor, or have as low a dose as possible. Should the lamictal be sufficient for depression? It's only been a couple of weeks since this last decrease in effexor...maybe I just need to wait and see?
I take 1.25 mgs of klonopin a day too and 25 mgs of seroquel. I'd love to get rid of the seroquel. I assume it's the sedation that is truly calming me, but when I've skipped it I get a little labile.
what to do...
