Hey babble,
It's been a while, something things happened and I coulndt get access to the internet for while. Anyways I saw my doctor and I'm getting a PET scan..to see the regions of the brain that are not active, or not functioning correct...so this test will show what's going on. The only thing I don't like is you have to be injected with radioactive stuff for it to give a "picture" of the nuerotransmitter flow, not thrilled about it.
I was at work the other day, I gotta say...do I mess up, I was putting some clothes together and I just did not stop sweating...mind would not concentrate on what it was doing. Had a Red Bull, that helped with attention but not focus.
I know I've talked about stimulant's, and basically the ones that do work are amphetamines...see I worked for my brother for a while and I took Dexedrine...at the end, yet before that that I was taking Vyvanse which is not as "effective". What can you do, when you know that something you mistook in the past is the only thing that correct's an imbalance that is somewhere, and it brings back focus, and sustanined attetention for things that do require rapid mental thinking. The only thing, my doctor finally came to a conclusion, Adderall XR would be prescibed, yet someone that cares about me objected because they just fear this substance. I can understand why, yet the distress of not being able to "function" properly...and so I just withdrew from social's.
When it is taken at prescibed doses say Dexedrine which the max is 60mg daily, by the FDA. Same with Adderall only the one diffrence is dexedrine is "d-amphetamine" with no isomer's added on. It provides not a "high" but stablization in something that just is not "working" in the mind.
I hope the PET scan will pick this up, because it's going to show what regions are not working, and any imbalances.
Any imput's?
