Now, I've been having bad and restless sleep during my first years on Paxil, but in the last year on it, I began to sleep very deeply. Perhaps, after 5HT2A-receptors have been overstimulated long enough, they downregulate so much that eventually you get roughly the same effect as 5HT2A-antagonism..
It's too bad though that taking cyproheptadine at bedtime doesn't work well for you. You might try mirtazapine (Remeron) instead. Also a potent 5HT2A(and -C)-antagonist and a very potent antihistaminergic. Do fill up the fridge and buy some wider trousers..
