Hello Phillipa, it's not clear when it went away or what caused it. It was one of the times my gp, otherwise an excellent doctor, didn't really pay attention to the borderline values, b/c they were borderline--I went to see an endocrinologist, who said I had had thyroiditis, which can be caused by a viral infection, but that it was clearing up on its own. It's hard to get my doctor to look into something she doesn't want to. Some things she's great about; thryoid, not so much. But I will ask her for the whole panel. Thanks Phillipa.
> If you had thyroiditis it was an inflammation of thyroid gland. I'd just ask for the thyroid panel and TPO autoantibodies when did it go away and how? What caused it in the first place. And to Zans didn't know cytomel could do that. babblemail always open. Love Phillipa
