Thank you SO MUCH! I love Amy's products and their website is really terrific - they have very clear keys so that you know what is not in the foods. Yeah! I didn't even think to look at Amy's veggie burgers because for some reason, the grocery store doesn't keep them with all the other veggie products (like Boca and Gardengurger). Strange, huh? I was on the site for a while last night making a big list of all the things I can have from them so that I don't have to spend forever in the freezer section reading ingredients. :) :) :)

It made me realize that the old standby of ordering a veggie burger at a restaurant isn't really a viable solution since there are so many of them with yeast extract and soy. Do you mind sharing with me what you, as a vegetarian and an MAOI user, generally order at restaurants? Any "safe" dishes that you would fall back on when you go to different places like Chinese, Thai, Italian, Mexican?

I was thinking that ravioli is probably a good bet, as long as there is no aged cheese mixed in with the ricotta. Bean and rice burritos or veggie and rice burritos, sans cheese for Mexican. I love Thai food but I've always gotten the different things with tofu...now I have no idea - I guess I could just get things with no tofu and extra vegetables?

I don't go out really since I've been so depressed but I am going to be travelling (which will mean eating out more I'm sure) which is what made me think of this stuff.

Thank you for your help!
