I posted before to you saying it was, for me, difficult to convince myself of a *panic attack* when I don't *feel* panic as is classically described or as I've felt it before.
Like you, I had gobs of testing done to rule out other causes - which was the thing to do. All my stuff was negative for any other underlying cause. A diagnosis of exclusion was my finding. Accepting that fact helped alot and was what I needed to do.
As far as naming it, I saw my spells as anxiety episodes. They was not of the classic (if there really is such a thing) variety panic attacks and tended to last quite some time with various physical manifestations. For me, the episodes were based on what I came to see as my amygdala throwing a fit.
