If you'd been on Perc for a month+ at maybe 10/650 3x a day, I think clonidine patches and hospitalization are in order, well, though, that was when hospitals had preventative care.

My understanding has been that benzos are used for a person w/ a hard time coming off an opiate after surgery or such.

But, it would seem that you should be allowed a bit more of the prefered benzo to get over the Perc and not have to draw from your usual regimen.

Don't see how that would work.

Your body is accustomed to a certain amount of this benzo, so it's like robbing Pete to pay Paul, and Pete might feel bad.

Hope pdoc is allowing you a couple weeks of an increased amount of the preferred benzo.
