In reply to Nardil, how long before it begins to 'work', posted by DontNoMuch on March 4, 2008, at 11:26:38
Hi,
As a naive user of Nardil you may have titrated up too fast. Waiting for the med to work is the hardest part, but your side effects are probably related to too fast an upward titration. If Nardil kicks in for you, the feeling is like no other AD. You can go from being miserable one day to feeling great the next. Seems like most people get a touch of hypomania with Nardil. When this goes away, don't mistake it for poop out. Some people chase this hypomanic feeling, bordering on euphoria; but it is not the true antidepressant affect of Nardil.
Be well,
Jedi
