Hi, I'm sorry you're suffering. It sounds pretty awful.
Here are a few questions that came to my mind when I read your posts:
1. How long have you been back on Prozac? At what dose?
2. Can you get to another pdoc? First of all, it sure doesn't sound as though you've got a keeper right now, and secondly, if she's gone for a year, you're going to need to see someone in that time period.
3. How long have these symptoms been going on? Could there be some general medical issues clouding the picture? (Especially with an eating disorder, that's pretty common.)
3.a. Is your eating disorder in full remission? If not, are you restricting or purging? (And if purging, are you using any chemical methods?)
4. Are you taking anything -- anything at all, for any reason -- other than Prozac? Any vitamins, supplements, alcohol, etc?
5. Can you give some sort of general time line regarding your med changes? You mentioned having the whole pharmacy thrown at you in a very short time while hospitalized, but how long after you initially stopped Prozac? How long were you off Prozac? How long were you hospitalized, and what was the reason given on that hospitalization? (That is, was it for medication adjustment, suicidal ideation, etc?)
From what you've written, and based on my own experiences, it sounds as though you may be relying on public health? If so, please know that I've been there, and know from experience that it can be very difficult to navigate and advocate for oneself. Maybe something I've learned can help you, though. I'll certainly give it a try, if you think it might help.
