Which meds will affect only these two neurotransmitters, dopamine and GABA? I have chronic general anxiety, and the serotinergic drugs don't seem to be the key. I take a benzo which I believe increases GABA, and it gives me great success.

Since these drugs increase GABA activity, is that why they're considered addictive? Then why isn't a drug like gapapentin, which I believe affects GABA, considered to be addictive?
