Do you mean HCG as in Human Chorionic Gonadotropin? If so, I've used it during fertility treatment, but it didn't have any noticeable effect on my weight. Then again, I was using it once each cycle, and then using progesterone for several weeks afterwards, so it probably wouldn't have had.
If you really are talking about the same HCG, there's no indication that it increases weight loss, nor that it changes the distribution of fat, nor that it does anything useful for weight loss. What's more, it is an injectable, and won't be covered under insurance, in all likelihood. Ovidrel, a prefilled syringe, was OK, but quite expensive. I used the generic, which required mixing as well as injecting, and still cost about $60 each time. There really are easier, more effective alternatives.
And, if you meant some other HCG, then -- in the immortal words of Emily Litella -- never mind...
