Phillipa's right, it can still be prescribed in the US. If you are doing as the board guidelines hope you're doing -- ie: working with a doctor -- you can get Serzone as a generic in the US. The "withdrawal" of the drug was as a name brand, and there's a suggestion that doctors only use it in those who've shown good response with few side effects and who don't respond well to other meds. It's not a total ban.

Of course, now that I think of it, it only helps if you're in the US...
