Hi Phillipa, thanks for responding. My PDOC told me that in her experience if there is no weight gain with Zyprexa it usually ends up that it isn't working for that individual. I gained 25 lbs over the year and Zyprexa was certainly working. Unfortunately I developed muscle rigidity and had to switch to Seroquel. But I'm glad to leave the weight gain of Zyprexa behind, I'm already losing weight on Seroquel. I am hoping that it continues to work as it appears to be. Now I'm targeting how to relieve my depression. I am supposed to stick to a higher dosage of Lexapro (10 mg to 20 mg) for 6 weeks to see if it helps. I hate this waiting period. I need inspirational stories that it worked for others. Because I can have an orgasm with this SSRI unlike the others, I'm suspicious that it isn't working. I've certainly been low for quite some time at 10 mg. Crossing my fingers that the change to 20 mg will do the trick. Otherwise my PDOC said she'll switch me to Wellbutrin. But that is weeks away. I want to feel good NOW!
