I'm a fan of adrafinil because it worked good for me while I was on it for a couple years in restoring interest, motivation, energy, and sociability. I keep some onhand for further trials. But I want to ask my doctor for provigil so I can compare them. From what I have heard they are similar, but people either prefer one or the other due to side effect concerns.
The hype makes adrafinil look like a miracle drug. But from my experience it is hype. Can it do what is claimed? Yes. But can some people get more depressed on it? Yes. Does it have side effects? According to the hype, no. According to my own trials, yes. Also, if you browse through remedyfind and view user comments on provigil and adrafinil, you will see that mileage varies exactly the same with them as with any other drug.
But I am still a fan.
