Look for Desvenlafaxine to be launched right before the Effexor XR patent is about to run out. I believe that is sometime in 2007. I would think that would be too long for anyone in serious depression right now to be waiting for. Anyway, probably not that much different (new and improved) than Effexor XR that is available right now.
