I experienced the corner-of-the-eye thing for a while, while I was on Effexor.

But I think it had more to do with the fact that I wasn't used to having longish hair, so the wavy protrusions into my peripheral vision threw me off. I experience the cell phone sometimes, too...

I don't know. Maybe you are suffering from some form of psychosis or TLE; I don't mean to minimize your concern. But when I experience that sort of thing I rationalize it this way: we're always struggling with our environment to maintain homeostasis, and it seems entirely possible that minor sensory artifacts could result from this.
