Clarocet while pregnant?

Posted by Diffy Q on September 12, 2005, at 14:28:18

I used to take Celexa. I was anxiety ridden all of the time. The Clexa helped majorly. I became pergnant and tried to quit but could not. I lowered my dose to a minimal 5 mg. and gave birth and breastfed for a year like that then I quit (it was a sucky withdrawal symptom hell- but I did it.)

I was fine for 6 months but the old anxiety is creeping in a big way.(I have a toddler and own a highly stressful business!) I feel I need help but want to go natural/ alternative. I am seriously considering Clarocet (I used to take SAM-e and found that it worked well for me...)

All of the Clarocet literature says do not take if you are pregnent, etc. We plan to get prego again in about 4-6 mos. I don't want to take it and then stop, etc... All of the literature for Celexa says 'do not take if pregnant, etc.' also but all of my doctors assured me that there would be no prob (and there were not).

I am just wondering if anyone has any idea if Clarocet would be more or less dangerous than something like Celexa. I assume less... Anyone have any experience or view on this one?
Thanks! Diffy
