So, I'm confused as to how a CPAP is supposed to help with congestion? They don't always help. I'm wondering, did they give you the results from the sleep test, i.e. a diagnosis, and a recommended treatment?
My report was very detailed, it gave a Apnea Hypopnea Index of 10.5. Also showed my sleep efficiency at 41%. (I slept for 41% of the time I was in bed).
Based on that, he recommending trying a cpap for a couple of weeks. I go back soon to seen what else can be tried if the cpap has no positive effect (i.e. removing some drugs, adding others).
kind regards ~Jake
