Link, it may be "Reagan-esque" statement: Take a statement. Repeat over and over. Voila! It becomes true.
I mean how likely is it that someone gathered a bunch of people on who had Remeron poop-out and a bunch of people who had zoloft poop-out (or whatever) and then put them on an MAOI and discovered Remeron poop-out was an indicator or success on MAOI's. Plus, I've been on the two MAOI's and their effects were completely different. They may be in the same category but they are two different drugs. I doubt if Remeron poop-out would indicate something about success on one of them, no saying both.
Plus, I have a problem with this statement: "And the MAOIs have their own discontinuation syndrome." Huh? Is that true either? Who knows!
