Hi:
A "Most' reliable dx is you need to speak out your problems as detail as possible. The reason why some of pdocs. not able to dx properly is said to be some of M.I. folks are VERY hesitatnt to talk about his/her mental-problems precisely. If you are 'unable' to remember/recall every detail in your activities and actions, then 'write down' like a dairy. That is the most easy and reliable source for a psychiatrist to dx and rx appropriately. In my knowledge through the experience, ... those 'machines,' 'EEG' and others are NOT as effective as written statement on your daily activities. Besides this, most of pdocs. even do NOT look at those 'tests' performed beforehand without his/her advice and recommendation. Some of pdocs. actually send his/her ppl to those facilities over his/her ppl's concern, but most cases are ended up nothing wrong with, ... just 'chimical imbalance' which requires psycho. meds.
