In reply to psych and medical database that has free articles, posted by corine parlee on February 11, 2005, at 22:15:04
Hey,
Most journals offer articles for free public access after about a year since publication. You will almost always need a subscription or university access to get brand new material. Some authors have their work linked in their cv's on their academic homepages also, if you know exactly what paper you want. Ebsco is a good journal database, you can also try pubmed (http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/entrez/query.fcgi) for articles over a year or so old. If you know a specific paper you'd like or a need help finding material I can help, my university has most readily available online.
keep smilin,
Ben
I wanted to know if any grad (or undergrad) students can direct me to a database that doesnt charge for access to their articles. I have access to Ebsco host, but can not get everything I need there. Any ideas?
