I don't know if moclobemide would necessarily work as well as Nardil or Parnate for social phobia and/or panic disorder, but if it's available, it might be worth trying. It is certainly true that it is more benign than either Nardil or Parnate, both in terms of general side effects (particularly compared to Nardil) and the issue of hypertensive crises (particularly compared to Parnate). If it doesn't work out, the other drugs are still available and do not require a long wait to transition to after ending moclobemide treatment.Todd
