Topomax / Seroquel for Bi-Polar II?

I've been diagnosed BPII. I've tried Depakote, Lithium and Lamictal, none of which were good for me due to side effects.

My pdoc is considering Topomax and/or Seroquel now. Do they both work the same way and how do they help for BPII?
