Shadows (love your name),
I like your ideas! I can plan the two days in advance (starting today) and that will take the pressure off of what to do for those 2 days and feeling lonely because I have nothing planned to do! Even cleaning is something to do, and my house needs a good cleaning from time to time - maybe I'll even hire someone to help me clean on some Saturdays to make it easier and faster. Also I could plan social events in advance and actually attend them, as well as shopping excursions. I don't have a problem shopping alone - in fact I prefer it. Maybe I can take a class on something and start a hobby.
Thanks - you've got me thinking about the possibilities that I forgot about!

You can take time to read a book, try a receipe, rearrange a room, and try a new hobbie - (i.e., painting). Why not during the week plan what you are going to do on the those "special" two days. You have the power to redefine your weekends to be something special to you instead of a dreaded time.
