I'm using "newer" version of Sulpiride - Amisulpride. But they are both structurally very similar and similar in effects.

>At what dose did it work for you?

At first it was 50mg/day, now I use 25mg/day. I find that both doses work the same. I've read somewhere on the net that Amisulpride doses are twice as potent as Sulpiride at the same mg dose.

>Does it have a stimulating effect or does it make depression worse?

It has a slight stimulating effect on me and DEFINITELY makes the depression BETTER (I have dysthymia/social anxiety/ADD)

>Did you find any other drug better for anxiety (apart from benzos)?

Nope. When it comes to anxiety - Amisulpride works for me just like benzos (Klonopin being the most-close) but at constant level. There are no ups and downs etc. So for me - I'd consider Amisulpride better choice for anxiety than any benzo.

Just my 2 cents.
