Do asthma meds have any side effects? Such as fast heart rate? Or rebound?
I get bad breathing problems when the ADD stims I take wear off, and I am considering treating the asthma with an inhaler. But I am concerned that there might be cross-med side effects.
Thanks for any info on your experience with asthma inhalers. I am very nervous about using them.
> > Could you tell me about the singular? Is it an inhaler or a pill? What do you use for a rescue inhaler? ps I did look up inderal after GP said not to take it and it does say bronchspasm. However I think the danger is more with the proventil so I am willing to try singular. Thank you. terrics

> Hey terrics...singulair is a pill you take once a day... before I came across singulair, I was using my ventolin inhaler at least once a day...The day I took singulair was THE last day I have ever used a rescue inhaler... also, the first couple of doese of Inderal gave me very little trouble (as far as asthma) It is a wonderful medication...you may want to try a small does, it comes in 10mg pills....
