As I said, I don't know if you can blame the desipramine for your state of mind. I've been in the grip of evil despair for years; none of the drugs I've taken for the last few years has changed that. I *do* sleep better now, and I can take Klonopin when I am extremely anxious, but I'm still suicidally depressed.It can take up to 6 weeks for an AD to work, so you should give it more time, I think.
Are you taking any other meds?
