Oh no!! Not at all!!! I am in committed relationship with my old man for almost 6 years and we are growing weary of using condoms. Neither of us have any diseases or anything like that, so no lectures please and I want to get on birth control again. I found out from 3 doctors that since Topamax (as most other anti-seizer medications) lower the (for lack of a bettter way to say it) capability of birth control to work properly that I have to take Demulin 150. Apparently it has a higher dose of Estrogen or something, I'm not exactly sure how it works but it does. I just want to know exactly what I am getting into before I commit. Another odd thing about it is that I have to get a note from my doctor before they will put me on it. This puts me in a bind because I only explained on the phone that I was on Topamax due to seizures, not as a mood stabilizer. Now I am going to have a not from my psychiatrist along with all of the other medications I am on, including an antipsychotic. This is a bit embarrassing for me. I just feel that I am only 24 years old and a bit too young to have "mental" problems. I guess I am just coming to grips with being diagnosed, as it was only a little over a year ago. Oh well, back to the original subject. Any one know anything about Demulin 150, the birth conrol pill?? Side effects?? What to expect?? Karen
