I've been taking 1000mg qday of fish oil too for about the past two weeks. Your dose doesn't scare me a bit. It's the standard electrolytes of the body like sodium, magnesium, calcium, potassium, stuff like that that really needs to fall into a small window. Out of normal limits of these and others can adversely affect the heart's function as well as the kidneys and liver. I am no expert by any means, but i have seen what elevated and/or low levels of these chemistries can do to the body. Truly, sometimes death. But fish oil and stuff like that, i have never seen a case where this was an issue regarding any negative functioning of the body. What effects are you hoping for from your fish oil?
