I've been researching this drug quite a bit letely as well. I'm not sure why it hasn't been used in the psych community yet. It has an action much like lamictal (Na/NMDA), but is sounds less stimulating. I use lamictal and neurontin which both act similarly to rilutek. My dr. has said that if I can find something new that the NIH is doing, then he's game for trying it with me. I plan on bringing him a bunch or literature on it next time I see him. I didn't check out your link, but they are doing trials, for dep, BP, and schiz. Hardly any info out there yet (if any) about it's afects on mood despite it use in ALS.
