I find that acupuncture is a godsend for me twice a week if I can afford it. It allows me to feel like 'me' again (the undepressed unfogged me).
It also is helpful in my tolerance of the medications I am currently taking for depression and ptsd.
Ask away if you want specifics. I think acupuncture is great if you find out if the practioner in your state or province is registered and licensed and that YOU have ultimate say over what does or doesn't happen to your body. Needles are so fine and they rarely hurt but some people are sensitive so if you are going to try just remember that you're in charge and to breathe through it. I find it strangely relaxing being on the table with the needles in me. Especially some of the head points that give me clarity. Sigh.
Best wishes.
