A rush of blood to the head

Posted by jesus on February 21, 2003, at 18:09:09

I hear Lexapro can cause a sudden rush of blood to the head whenever you've been sitting down for an extended period of time...has anybody experienced this? Earlier today I got out of bed and stood up my vision suddenly darkened and I felt this really 'dissociative' type of feeling, like I was on the verge of blacking out...it was like a 'rush of blood to the head feeling' (which I experience from time to time), but to a significantly larger degree. Has anybody experienced this, or does anybody know what may be causing this? I'm also on 30mg of Adderall XR, but i doubt that has much to do with it. either way, im going to see a doc about it b/c im afraid there may not be enough oxygen getting in my brain or something.
