Which is the best SSRI for OCD?

Posted by Eve70 on August 5, 2002, at 11:12:13

Hi to all,
I suffer of OCD and i try to put me on Anafranil (clomipramine) wich is considered the most effective for OCD. But i couldn't stand side effects like exxtreme dizzyness, drowsiness and somnolence and other s/e.
I think I must try with an SSRI drug and i've read that the drugs effective for OCD are Paroxetine (paxil),sertraline (zoloft), fluoxetine (proxac) and citalopram (celexa).
Which of them is considerated the most effective in your opinion and experience?
Which is the less sedative?
Thanks for your help!
