it's a weird one. it's a GABA re-uptake inhibitor (an anticonvsulsant), typically used on epileptics. Sort of has the sensation of being on pain-killers, slightly loopy feeling at times (which is good in a way since it helped me lighten up). It's not as sedating as other anti-convuslants like Neurontin but at the same time it doesn't relieve as much anxiety. Some people feel a little high on it after onset (as I did). Overall, it's quite mild at low doses but as Ritch mentioned, it can be a little taxing on memory for some (you might have some neurological side effects as well since GABA is an inhibiting neuroransmitter).
It might be worth a try if you have mild GAD symptoms.
