Difference between 100-200mg topamax

Posted by Delilah O'Riley on March 19, 2002, at 5:25:23

long story short- 7 yrs. ago I had sudden onset migraines. Here's the short list of meds: propranalol, vicadin, methadone, prosac, paxil, wellbutrin, imitrex, effexor, toradol, ultram, etc. etc. etc. blah, blah, blah. Three months ago eased off everything in prep for Topamax and a controlled experiment to see if it would work. 5 weeks ago started on 50 mg topamax, went up to 100mg. Here's what it was like: little airy fairies were flying around in my head sweeping away any POTENTIAL pain before it started. After 7 years of life dictated by meds and pain, raising 4 kids, teaching HIGH SCHOOL, can you imagine! So anyway, the airy fairies were doing great until my period started. No migraines yet but I've heard distant rumblings so I want to up my dose to 200. What can I expect at 200? My weird Topa side effects have started to ease (stupidity, hands, feet asleep, etc.) Now I want my airy fairies back.
