In my opinion, Neurontin alone is a bomb of a mood stabilizer. I cycle constantly while on low dose AD+Neurontin.

But as an add on to a major mood stabilizer (like lithium or depakote, etc), it works great for me and bp 2. I find Lithium and neurontin a nice combo. I feel very calm and without the rapid cycles.

So, I wouldn't call it a complete failure!
