One thought I have is that since you are on lithium, get your thyroid checked out. I took lithium briefly a couple of years ago and it worsened my hypothyroidism very rapidly. I chose to go off of the lithium, but really could have stayed on it and just adjusted the thyroid meds upward to compensate.
