> Christy - I've noticed the same thing. On several different occasions over the last many years I've gone off a drug just so I can go on another. After I've stopped taking drug #1, I feel almost euphoric. Unfortunately that sense of well being has never lasted and eventually I'm back on something, but it sure feels good for awhile.

Last winter and spring i was on serzone and had some pretty awful side effects. I never really appreciated how negatively the drug was affecting me until I went off it. It was an augmentation drug to Wellbutrin which I've taken for years. After i got off serzone I elected not to "up" my WB because I assumed I'd knock it down again when I undertook the next trial of another augmentation agent. That was about 4 months ago at least. I haven't felt a huge need either to increase the WB or to try a new drug. I can't explain it but I'm dong better on less medication than I've taken in years.
